Looking back with pride. Moving forward with purpose.
On February 17th, 2013, Damian Kevitt was nearly killed in a horrific hit-and-run. He lost his leg, but not his purpose. That act of violence became the spark that launched Streets Are For Everyone.
From one crash survivor to one of California’s leading nonprofits, SAFE has grown into a movement that has created change in Los Angeles, across California, and the entire US.
This year marks 10 years of relentless advocacy, life-saving programs, and grassroots change since the organization officially became a nonprofit.
We're celebrating a decade of:
• 🕯️ Honoring victims
🏛️ Passing life-saving legislation
🎓 Educating youth
🙌 Training volunteers
🚴 Building a movement for safer streets
And that’s not even half of it!
Join us for an inspiring evening.
Celebrate with friends, partners, and advocates who helped make this milestone possible—as we reflect on what we’ve achieved, and launch the next 10 years of progress!
Join us for:
🎞️ A never-before-seen 10-Year Impact video
🎤 Guest speakers and survivor stories
🎵 Live performance
🥂 Delicious buffet of finger foods, desserts, and soft drinks
