At the Autry Museum in Griffith Park!

Finish The Ride and Run Griffith Park:
Supporting Safer Roads since 2014.

Finish the Ride and Finish The Run supports the life-saving strategies of Streets Are For Everyone to make roads safer for all road users. This event has been making roads safer since 2014, when Damian Kevitt finished his ride to Griffith Park, a year after losing his leg and almost his life in a hit-and-run collision while cycling there. By participating in these events, you are supporting this mission.

Thank you to Waymo and AAA, our Title Sponsors

and our Presenting Sponsors, Cohen Law Partners, Verra Mobility, Fleet Feet, and The Autry Museum.

    FINISH THE RUN ROUTE SUMMARIES

The 1K Runs are short runs solely on trails and by the Autry Museum, specifically for young children, who are able to do the course, and another run for puppies (on the same route).

The 5K is a fun, fast, and flat trail run on the horse paths and running trails of Griffith Park. It is not on the roads.

The 10K is a fun and fast trail run with only a couple of minor hills, on the horse paths and running trails of Griffith Park. It is not on the roads.

The Half Marathon is a fun and challenging trail run with about 1,500 feet of elevation gain, going up through the hills of Griffith Park.

    FINISH THE RIDE ROUTE SUMMARIES

12 Mile Family Fun Ride/Roll is fun and safe for new riders and family, entirely on bike lanes or bike paths and flat terrain.

The 20-Mile Nice-N-Easy Ride is an advanced beginner to intermediate ride mostly on bike lanes or bike paths and is fairly flat with less than 500 feet of elevation gain.

The 35-Mile Leg burn Ride is an intermediate to advanced level ride with about 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Cyclists travel through the beautiful, car-free back roads of Griffith Park and on bike lanes and paths around the park.

The Andrew Jelmert Half Century is an advanced-level 50-mile ride with 2,700 feet of elevation gain. Riders will experience the scenic, car-free back roads of Griffith Park, cruise along bike lanes and paths surrounding the park, and head down to the Arroyo Seco Bike Path before returning for a strong finish.

The Bahati Foundation Metric Century is an advanced-level ride featuring 3,400 feet of elevation gain. Starting in Griffith Park, the course takes you along the LA River and Arroyo Seco bike paths, all the way up to Hahamongna Watershed Park—then loops back for a rewarding finish.

  • Stay tuned for our training ride schedule!

  • Packet pick-up is an optional opportunity to collect your event materials prior to the event in order to beat the crowds on the morning of your event.

    📍Location: Fleet Feet Burbank

    📅 Dates & Times:
    🔸 Thursday, May 29 – 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
    🔸 Friday, May 30 – 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

At packet pick-up, you will be able to collect your bib (and helmet sticker for cyclists), route maps, cycling jerseys and/or running tech shirts ordered, and your t-shirts/athletic sleeves.

This is not mandatory and you can still pick up your packet on the morning of your event if you would like.

It helps if you bring your registration confirmation email (or have it available on your device). This helps our staff and volunteers find you easily on our registration platform. If you are picking up for a friend or family member we require that you have their confirmation email to be able to pick up for them.

  • Several sponsors and supporters of Finish The Ride and Run have offered some amazing discounts just for participants of Finish The Ride and Run to show their appreciation for your support to make our roads safer in Southern California.
