Finish The Ride and Run Griffith Park:
Supporting Safer Roads since 2014.
Finish the Ride and Finish The Run supports the life-saving strategies of Streets Are For Everyone to make roads safer for all road users.
This event has been making roads safer since 2014, when Damian Kevitt finished his ride to Griffith Park, a year after losing his leg and almost his life in a hit-and-run collision while cycling there.
By participating in these events, you are supporting this mission.

FINISH THE RUN ROUTE SUMMARIES
The 1K Runs are short runs solely on trails and by the Autry Museum, specifically for young children, who are able to do the course, and another run for puppies (on the same route).
The 5K is a fun, fast, and flat trail run on the horse paths and running trails of Griffith Park. It is not on the roads.
The 10K is a fun and fast trail run with only a couple of minor hills, on the horse paths and running trails of Griffith Park. It is not on the roads.
The 15K combines our 10K and 5K routes. It is a fun, trail run with only a couple of minor hills, on the horse paths and running trails of Griffith Park. It is not on the roads.
The Half Marathon is a fun and challenging trail run with about 1,500 feet of elevation gain, going up through the hills of Griffith Park.
FINISH THE RIDE ROUTE SUMMARIES
12 Mile Family Fun Ride/Roll is a nice, flat ride starting at the Autry Museum and riding through Griffith Park to get on the LA River Bike Path. Turn around at the Happier Camper for some refreshments and hear back to The Autry. Ride is great for beginners and family-friendly.
The 20-Mile Nice-N-Easy Ride is a flat ride starting at The Autry and riding on Forest Lawn Drive through Burbank to get on the LA River Bike Path. Turn around at the Happier Camper Pit Stop and head back to The Autry. Ride is great for beginner riders and children 8+ (with parental supervision, of course).
The 35-Mile Leg Burn Ride starts at The Autry. You’ll have a quick, flat warm-up in Griffith Park and Burbank followed by a climb up Mt. Hollywood and down past the Observatory to the Trails Cafe Pit Stop. Don’t get too comfortable as you’ll have to climb up the way you came and down Mt. Hollywood again back into Griffith Park and on the LA River Bike Path. Enjoy the Happier Camper Pit Stop before finishing the last (flat) 6 miles back to the Autry.
The Andrew Jelmert Half Century You’re in for some climbing, views and downtown sights as you also enjoy a nice flat warm-up before going up Mt. Hollywood and down to the Trails Cafe Pit Stop. You’ll head back (uphill) the way you came and then it’s downhill into Griffith Park and onto the LA River Bike Path. Enjoy the Happier Camper Pit Stop before you head south on the bike path to exit and ride through Chinatown to the turnaround at the 6th Street Bridge.
The Bahati Foundation Metric Century Head south after a nice, flat warm-up in Griffith Park and Burbank before getting on the LA River Bike Path. You’ll eventually exit the bike path and ride through Chinatown and the Arts District across the fabulous 6th Street Bridge through Vernon to the LA River Bike Path. You’ll keep heading down and enjoy the great DeForest Park Pit Stop before turning around to head back the way you came.
