Good morning Subscriber First Name! WE ARE BACK! Some of you have reached out wondering why you haven’t gotten a newsletter in a few months. Thank you for asking, and I’m honored that you care. We haven’t gone anywhere, but as a small, feisty organization, we are experiencing growing pains. Our newsletter went dark for a bit between personnel shifts, technical issues with our email marketing platform, an overload of advocacy and legislation projects, and expansion challenges. Still, I’m proud to say that WE ARE BACK!! I have SO much to tell you about—enough to fill several newsletters this week alone. You’ll hear about all of it and some exciting expansion news over the next few weeks, so be sure to keep opening these emails. This week, we are back at Griffith Park with some updates and a call to action. Frankly, I’m mad that the bureaucracy and red tape at Recs and Parks have delayed the start of construction for the biggest safety upgrades to Griffith Park in its history for almost a year.
