Streets, Art, SAFE Honors Young Student Filmmakers
Exciting news! Streets Are For Everyone is hosting their 2nd Annual Streets, Art, SAFE Traffic Safety PSA Awards Ceremony this month. This brings to a conclusion an exciting competition aimed at educating young adults on the #1 killer of people their age -- traffic collisions.

The program paired high school students with veteran Hollywood filmmakers to produce traffic safety PSA's in order to educate, others on responsible and safe use of our roads.

Some of the traffic safety PSA topics that the students chose for the competition were:
  • Obeying laws of the road
  • Being visible
  • Distracted Driving
  • Drunk Driving
  • Drugged Driving, and much more!

This year, there was total of 30 submissions with more than 100 students participating and competing for a grand prize of $1,500 for the winning school's arts department and individual prizes.

On Tuesday, May 16th, SAFE will be recognizing all participants with an old time Hollywood award ceremony at LAPD Headquarters.
